The other day, one of my Fabulous mentors said to me, “Tamie!
Welcome to The Elevation Club!”
And I got it!! I've been getting ‘this one' for years… but this time I REALLY got it… at a whole NEW level!!
THE THING IS…
When we decide we're done with the pain, the confusion, the exhaustion from the damned drama of it all…
When we decide we're sick and tired of being sick and tired…
When we decide we're done with playing small and living in Wrongtown…
Done with running in circles trying to please everyone else.
Done with jumping through hoop after hoop after God damned hoop trying to get approval from folks who ain't got none to give.
When we decide it's time to stop living for ‘them' and to start living for US!!!
We change. We grow. We heal. We evolve. We ELEVATE!!
And the Truth is…
That's gonna make A LOOOOT of people uncomfortable!!
Plenty of people are not going to be able to come with us, where we are going.
Plenty of people are not going to be thrilled with this new version of us…. who we now are…
You know… the one where we now Love ourselves, Honor ourselves, Respect ourselves, Trust ourselves, take CARE of ourselves…
The one where we now know how to step back, set boundaries, draw lines in the sand… tell the Truth!!
The one where we're now able to take a deep breath and say “NO” because we finally understand that “NO” is a full fucking sentence and we now have ZERO issue saying it…
While letting the awkward and uncomfortable silence be what it is… new ground… a new day… a new Me… “Deal Baby!”

As hard as it may be, we must learn to accept that some people will not be able to come with us, where we are going.
They just don't get it, won't get it, don't understand, can NOT hear you, don't speak the language, don't wanna learn…
And for reasons that have NOTHING to do with you… just can't handle, won't accept, and don't like the ‘new you.' #ohwell
RISE THE FUCK UP AND ELEVATE ANYWAY!!
